Hundreds of grad students have trusted us to help them achieve their goals, including from:

Does this sound familiar?
"Am I really prepared for this?"
"How can I find out what's expected of me,
and whether I'm meeting the mark?"
“I have so many commitments
and not enough time.”
"I'm not sure how to ask for help, or even who to ask."
“Phew! I finished required courses....
But now what?!”
"There's no way I can do all the assigened reading."
"Am I smart enough to be here?"
“How do I ‘participate’ in seminar courses?”
“I’m still figuring out how to be a grad student, and now I have to teach?!”
“My advisor isn't giving me useful or timely feedback.”
"How can I write consistently?"
"Am I the only one who feels this way?"
"Will I ever be done?"
You are not alone.
We have heard these issues raised by hundreds of graduate students.
Grad school is hard. In the most recent national study* only 57% of PhD students completed their degrees within 10 years.
Below is a graph of the completion rate for Humanities PhDs over ten years.

Being a graduate student is challenging and noble work.

We work with Grad students in professional, PhD, and Masters programs, including:
-
Grads at all stages: from just out of college to established professionals
-
Grads who are parents or caregivers
-
International students
-
Grads who are neurodivergent and/or have disabilities
-
Grads enrolled in in-person, hybrid, or fully online programs

We get it. Trying to master graduate school on your own is hard.
We know you want to excel at your program, learn the skills you need for your future career, and (perhaps) conduct groundbreaking research. To do this, you need supports designed specifically to meet your needs as a grad student.
The problem is that grad school is a unique environment and grad students are often not given the tools to navigate it. This can leave you feeling exhausted, alone, and frustrated; it can extend your time to degree, and even prompt you to leave your program.
You deserve to thrive in graduate school so that you can move forward confidently and achieve your goals. That's why, over 15 years, we've made it our mission to support students like you so that you can succeed, finish your degree, and even (dare we say it?) enjoy the experience.

“I wouldn't have finished my dissertation without this support.”
"I went from feeling isolated and overwhelmed to being part of a supportive academic community. The writing accountability group didn't just improve my scholarly progress—it taught me how to balance academic rigor with critical self-care. I'm now more confident, connected, and productive than ever before."
— Postdoc,
Lehigh University
"Before this program, dissertation writing felt impossible. Now, I understand that academic success isn't about constant inspiration, but about practical strategies like setting timers, making to-do lists, and pushing through challenging tasks. This course transformed my approach, making dissertation completion not just a dream, but an achievable reality."
— Postdoc,
Duke University
"This was the most valuable program in my entire graduate school experience. Without it, I would not have finished my dissertation. The support, strategies, and community were transformative—turning what seemed like an insurmountable challenge into a completed degree."
